January 5, 2016 Board Meeting Agenda Item #21 Title APPROVAL OF THE SUPERINTENDENT'S FINANCIAL STATEMENTS FOR THE MONTH ENDING OCTOBER 31, 2015 Description The Superintendent's Financial Statements for the month ending October 31, 2015 does not reflect any unexpected trends for the second quarter of the 2015-2016 fiscal year. The negative trend in the General Fund will continue until approximately November when property taxes are received. Expenditures are anticipated to exceed revenues at year end in the General Fund because of the use of unassigned fund balance included in the adopted budget. Recommendation That the Board approve the Superintendent's Financial Statements for the month ending October 31, 2015 as presented.
